Deszeld is the poorest of the high-class regions, however still more rich than any of the lower classed regions. Despite the lack of wealth, relatively speaking, Deszeld is known to be more intellectual than the other high-class regions; the University of Barrock being the center of the intellectual pursuits of most of Tylwol. With this focus on education and learning, Deszeld as a region keeps mainly to itself, only allying with those that will keep it from conflict with others and no more. Primary races found within the cities of Deszeld are Humans, Half-Elves, Gripplis, and Ratfolk, with a small number of Undine asserting their own culture into the mix. The region itself is dotted with small lakes and thin forests, some combining to form swamps in certain areas of the regions. The landscape is more defined by what season it is, the Rain or the Dry. When during the Dry, the lakes dry up and the trees cease to grow leaving a grassy wasteland between each city. When during the Rain, the lakes fill back up, the trees start to grow again and the land itself becomes more green and alive.
